Namma Yatri's Parent Disrupts Delhi-NCR Commute with Zero-Commission Cab Service

Namma Yatri's parent company, MovingTech, has today launched its zero-commission cab service under the brand 'Yatri' in the national capital region. This expansion follows the successful implementation of the same model in Bengaluru, which has garnered significant praise from both riders and drivers alike.

The Yatri app, built on an open and community-driven platform, promises to offer a more affordable and transparent ride-sharing experience. By eliminating commissions for cab drivers, the company aims to directly benefit those at the frontline of the service. Additionally, the app's integration into the ONDC network is a significant step towards creating a more open and accessible transportation ecosystem in India.

MovingTech co-founder, Shan M S, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, "We are excited to bring the Yatri experience to Delhi-NCR.

Our commitment to supporting the EV ecosystem is evident in our decision to waive subscription fees and commissions for electric autos and cabs until March 2026."

With this expansion, Yatri is poised to disrupt the heavily-dominated cab market in Delhi-NCR, offering a refreshing alternative for commuters and a lucrative opportunity for drivers.
